Trust Training

Creating Safety

Safety is a state of your nervous system. It is a feeling of being internally relaxed and socially connected. Learn how to regulate yourself when things go wrong, co-regulate with others, and create safe environments.

Modules

Self-Regulation

Participants will learn about the three different neurological states, and how to regulate themselves back to a safe state.

Speaking Vulnerably

Participants will learn how to speak vulnerably in order to build safety with each other.

Feeling Feelings

Participants will build their emotional vocabulary, learn how to feel their feelings and talk about feelings with others.

Clearing Conversations

Participants will learn a framework to safely talk about any event that caused eroded safety in a relationship.

Creating Safety

Participants will learn about the three types of safety and how to start creating safety for their teams.

Training Approach

To create permanent and sustainable behavior change, each training module contains the steps of Learn, Practice, and Reflect. The time commitment for each part of the training module will be customized to fit the culture of the organization.

Learn

Participants will have a group training session focusing on one relational skill. Each training session will include a combination of instruction, individual reflection, small group breakouts, and group discussion to counteract Zoom fatigue.

Practice

Participants will have relevant and immediately applicable assignments to complete between sessions. Alla will provide accountability for assignment completion.

Reflect

Two weeks after each skills training session, participants will come together for small group reflections sessions to share their learnings from the practice, troubleshoot challenges, and formulate action plans, to which Alla will hold participants accountable.

Let’s get our wheels turning together.
